Women supporting women. That’s at the heart of what Made to Grow Project is: a grassroots, not-for-profit organization, whose primary purpose is to support women entrepreneurs in their business growth.
Genny spoke with co-founders Nancy and Sherry about the Made to Grow Project. As women entrepreneurs themselves, they related to the dynamics of starting and growing a successful business. To that end, they created a membership structured community, based on mutual support and common understanding, that provides a safe place for women entrepreneurs to share, learn and grow in business.
Through monthly workshops led by industry experts; weekly meetups that focus on connections, community and self-focused development; and supporting one another through member-to-member incentives, Made to Grow leads with the mindset of collaboration over competition and women offering their knowledge to one another motivated in wanting the other to succeed.
They are hosting the 3rd annual “Made to Grow Project” event on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 10 am – 5 pm, at the Manitoba Club (located at 194 Broadway), and online as well. This event offers women entrepreneurs an opportunity to network and connect with other business owners.
