48 - Chat with Susanne Marius of Gravity Lingerie

In episode 48, Genny spoke with Susanne Marius, co-owner of Gravity Lingerie, about how she got started in the lingerie business. She shared that when she was a young teacher and a young mom, she had a student in her class and his mom owned a lingerie shop. When Susanne was going on maternity leave, the woman suggested that for Susanne’s sanity and mental health that she come work at her shop. When Susanne arrived at the shop, the first person she met was Sherry Valentin, the other co-owner of Gravity Lingerie. Susanne and Sherry hit it off and said that one day, they would own a business together. And now it’s 3 years since they’ve been working together.

Susanne stressed the importance of a good foundation under your clothes because that shows off your silhouette and gives you that confidence to know that you are supported. It’s about offering quality service and quality products that are the right fit for your body. As Susanne puts it, it’s about sustainability and that it’s an investment in yourself.
