 This time we’re talking The Duo Two (Tara and Brian Bryne), and vocal coach Brian gets into projecting that voice, breathing, making things good by spending time singing, singing in the car and the shower, the vulnerability of opening your mouth to sing and what your body does all wrong, , Jeff tells Brian about his old record store (Discworks), the influence of musicologist Rob Bowman and Vortex Records, vintage vinyl, the stolen Neil Young “Roadeye” jacket story, “Food, Shelter Clothing and a Really Great Pair of Speakers”, boots, nicknames, dressing up your wiener (because that’s normal), referring to yourself in the 3rd person (because that’s funny), Brian’s epitaph?, one of Brian’s favourite albums, and one of Jeff’s, Bowie and his wife and his daughter, Stones or Beatles?, Metric, The DOORS, and back to the wiener costume party.
