I have attempted meditation a few times before in my life, but I always ended up quitting because honestly, I wasn't really ready and open to it, so it was hard to commit, making quitting was easy. I have embarked on this rinse and repeat cycle for many things, because I just never felt ready to commit to anything more and I have naturally felt the burden of life's stresses that have impacted my own energy. But now, I have reached a point in my life where things like mediation matter to me, therefore I'm making time for it.   In today’s episode, I discuss why we make time for what matters to us, but it’s just about figuring out what that thing is. I speak on my experience with meditation and how it has transformed my life. Stress can never go away but you can create habits that bring you joy and a sense of feeling centered and why you need to exercise your habit muscles!   In this episode, we cover:

  • We make time for what matters for us, and how mediation has changed my life [2:41]
  • You can’t completely avoid stress but you can practice habits that help you recover from stress [8:32]
  • Judgment, finger pointing, and online trolls have their impact [14:11]
  • Kindness meditation has transformed my life and it’ll transform yours [21:02]
  • We have become so comfortable with stress that it is now part of our identity as a mom [28:01]
  • You deserve an environment of peace and so do your children [35:51]
