NHL Offensive Defenseman Bryan Berard talks about being drafted 1st overall in 1995, winning Rookie of the Year with the NY Islanders, being traded to the Maple Leafs for Felix Potvin, his two productive seasons in Toronto with Mats Sundin/Steve Thomas/Tie Domi/Pat Quinn, the tragic fluke injury that led to the loss of sight in his right eye, his comeback to successfully rejoin the NHL playing with effectively only one eye, finishing his career in Russia playing for a Putin oligarch and paid in bags of cash, hanging out with Belinda Stronach/John McEnroe/Fred McGriff/David Boomer Wells/Bo Jackson, and his stellar 2nd place finish in CBC’s Battle of the Blades!
