I think about the space I take up in the world a lot as a woman. There is rarely a day that goes by that I’m not acutely aware of how my gender affects the outcome of a lot of the choices I make but like many, I’m so immersed in my experience that I rarely give thought to how the world I interact in actually determines the space I have physically.
