There is a joke in here somewhere I’m sure that the longest podcast I’ve ever recorded focuses largely on ADHD. The topic of neurodiversity however seems to be everywhere these days. Certainly amongst my peer group, I’ve seen many share recent diagnoses of ADHD and if you’re on TikTok, the explainer videos are as ubiqutous as the dancing. Listening and reading about how neurodiversity has impacted so many lives, prompted me to start learning more. Enter Nadine Araksi, one of my peers who was diagnosed in her 40s with ADHD and wrote an article for Canadian Business about supporting neurodivergency in the workplace. Together with Christina Crowe from Dig A Little Deeper we spend the next hour discussing how ADHD can present different for women, how adult diagnoses can be a game changer, and how businesses can benefit from employing a neurodiverse workforce. There’s a lot of great information in this one, and you may even find yourself having a few lightbulb moments like I did. Meet Nadine Araksi and Christina Crowe.
