57 - Chat with Sharon O'Leary, A Modern Renaissance Woman

What is a renaissance woman? It’s someone who has a wide range of abilities and interests especially in the arts and sciences. It’s someone who enjoys learning new things, possibly above all else.

In episode 57, Genny spoke with Sharon O’Leary, owner of That O’Leary Girl Inc., who is someone that embodies all these qualities. Sharon shared how she got started in the tech field in the year 2000 and how, 22 years later, she’s working as a Senior Project Manager and a Senior Organizational Change Management Specialist. Along the way, Sharon also became an Integral Master Coach, applying her coaching skills to her project management roles.

Aside from her tech experience, Sharon is, first and foremost, an artist. She shared how she got started in that field by taking art lessons at the age of 12. Genny and Sharon also spoke about being left-brained (more analytical and methodical) and right-brained (more creative and artistic). Over the years, Sharon has been able to weave in her creative and artistic side into the more analytical and technical roles.

As someone with a thirst for learning, Sharon became a Certified End of Life Doula, and an instructor with the University of Winnipeg Professional Applied Continuing Education. She still indulges her love of art by holding paint classes and is currently working on her own art show.

A lover of good coffee and good wine, Sharon shares this love with Genny.
