They say that behind every successful man, there is a woman supporting him. But behind every successful woman is herself! And when women support each other, incredible things happen! In episode 30, Genny spoke with Louanne Vermette, owner of Jacked Up Jill Coffee. A guidance counselor for over 20 years, Louanne needed an outlet for her creativity and, because she loved coffee, she thought 'why not open her own coffee business?' So she created Jacked Up Jill Coffee about 4 years ago and has been roasting coffee beans ever since.
Louanne shares the process of roasting and why she loves it so much. She calls it her "happy place". They also talk about the unique names of her coffees or "her girls" as she calls them, such as "Glitter, Not Bitter", "Mrs. and Mr. Jill", and "Jill of All Trades".
